WHO has worked to support Cabo Verde in its ambition to establish the highest standards of health care delivery by means of several joint initiatives guided by the WHO African region Transformation Agenda to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. These are grouped into three key areas, in line with the 13th General Programme of Work:
