Uganda has made significant progress in its journey towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by improving the well-being and survival of women and children during pregnancy, childbirth and adolescence. This journey began in 2013 with the development of the first RMNCAH Sharpened Plan to accelerate progress towards the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
