The Ministry of Health in Uganda, World Health Organization and partners will conduct a three-day After-Action Review (13th to 16th February) in Kamapala following the declaration of the end of the Ebola outbreak in Uganda. This aim at documenting best practices and challenges to improve preparedness and response efforts for future outbreaks. Specifically, the review will:
- Assess the utilization of existing operational and functional capacity for the Ebola Outbreak event.
- Document best practices and challenges among Ebola outbreak response stakeholders at national and subnational levels.
- Assess existing coordination mechanism and identify areas of improvement.
- Develop practical plan of action for improving existing capacities.
