Ebola Virus Disease in Uganda SitRep - 31

Today marks 32 days of responding to the EVD outbreak, first case was confirmed on 19-Sep-2022. 
- Six newly confirmed EVD cases in the past 24 hours – three confirmed from Kampala and three in Mubende, all were contacts under follow up that were linked to known cases. 
- The 03 cases confirmed in Kampala have been under isolation in the Mulago isolation unit, since identification as contacts of a confirmed case. 
- Zero new confirmed deaths reported within the past 24 hours.
- Since the symptom onset of the last confirmed cases in Kyegegwa, Kagadi and Bunyangabu, no new cases have been reported from these districts for 30 days, 24 days and 22 days respectively.
- Case Fatality Ratio (CFR) among confirmed cases is 27/71 (38%). 
- Contacts actively being followed-up in ten districts, follow-up rate in the past 24 hours was 97%
- All listed contacts in Bunyangabu, Kagadi and Kyegegwa completed 21 days of follow-up.
