02 September 2020 — Seventy-six (76) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 5792 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to four thousand, two hundred, and eighteen (4218). To date, two thousand, and seventy-one (2071) patients have recovered and been discharged, including twenty-seven (27) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is two thousand, one hundred and thirty (2130) and seventeen (17) deaths. The new death is a Rwandan of 71 years from Rusizi District.

The number of active cases is two thousand and eighty-six (2086) and sixteen (16) deaths.
