Update COVID-19 31 May 2020
31 May 2020 — Eleven (11) new CoVID_19 cases were identified out of 1092 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to three hundred and seventy (370). To date, two hundred and fifty-six (256) patients have recovered and been discharged, with one (1) death occurred on 30th May. The number of active cases is a hundred and thirteen (113).
All active cases are in isolation in stable condition.
Borno launches COVID-19 heroes’ campaign
Maiduguri, 29 May 2020 - As part of the ongoing response to the COVID-19 outbreak in north-east Nigeria, Borno State, WHO in collaboration with partners, has launched a campaign tagged “COVID-19 Heroes Campaign”, to recognize and designate survivors as heroes and heroines .

30 May 2020 — Four (4) new CoVID_19 cases were identified out of 1368 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to three hundred and fifty-nine (359). To date, two hundred and fifty (250) patients have recovered and been discharged, with one (1) death. The number of active cases remains a hundred and four (108).
All active cases are in isolation in stable condition.

29 May 2020 — Six (6) new CoVID_19 cases were identified out of 1340 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to three hundred and fifty-five (355). To date, two hundred and forty-seven (247) patients have recovered and been discharged, including two (2) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is a hundred and eight (108).
All active cases are in isolation in stable condition.
