Kenya: 10-Day Mpox Vaccination Campaign Factsheet
Kenya's Ministry of Health, in partnership with WHO, UNICEF, and other organizations, conducted a 10-day mpox vaccination campaign from September 3–12, 2025, across Mombasa, Busia, and Nakuru counties.
The campaign deployed 10,700 doses of MVA-BN vaccine to high-risk populations including truck drivers, sex workers, and healthcare workers, achieving 105.2% of the target through mobile vaccination sites and community engagement strategies.
