Mpox Outbreak in Uganda -Updates _ 21.09.2024

The cumulative total confirmed mpox cases since the declaration of the outbreak are 24 (twenty-four) across 10 districts. No death has been registered among the confirmed cases.

The National Health Workforce Policy Dialogue: Optimizing and Investing in Health Workforce to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals was convened by the Uganda Ministry of Health (MoH) in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) 27–28 June 2024 in Kampala. The purpose was to disseminate the findings of Uganda’s health labour market analysis (HLMA) and seek consensus on the priority strategies and actions needed to optimize and invest in the health workforce in Uganda.
