The World Health Organization Regional Office for Africa (WHO AFRO) faces a growing challenge in managing viral haemorrhagic fever (VHF) outbreaks in the Region, including a range of serious pathogens: Ebola, Marburg, Lassa, yellow fever, dengue, Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever, and Rift Valley fever.
