The Africa Health Workforce Investment Forum will be conducted in three official languages of the WHO African Region,
​​​​​​​ i.e., English, French, and Portuguese languages, with simultaneous interpretation. 

Overview

Objectives

The objective of the Africa Health Workforce Investment Forum is to formally launch the African Health Workforce Investment Charter and secure commitments for leveraging health workforce investments and action. 

The specific objectives are to: 

  • Officially launch the investment charter and raise the health workforce agenda by engaging high-level leaders, multisectoral stakeholders (Ministers of Health, Finance and Labour) and partners  
  • Mobilise and secure the commitments, partnerships, and investments that are needed to tackle the health workforce challenges based on principles and actions enshrined in the investment charter (by convening key stakeholders, investors and Ministers of Health, Finance, Labour, and Public Service).
