To ensure continuous, effective and sustainable AMR education and awareness in the region, the World Health Organization Regional office for Africa (WHO AFRO) will be introducing monthly Education and Awareness Regional Webinar Series which will run from May to December, 2022.
These are aimed at creating a platform for member countries to; share best practices and effective strategies for awareness creation, possible solutions to most common challenges as well as capacitate implementers within countries with the necessary knowledge and skills on how to package awareness messages, effectively engage and communicate with different target audiences.
The inaugural session will be held on Wednesday 4th May, 2022 at 1pm CAT, with a focus on Innovative Strategies for Youth Engagement.
Please note that the webinar will be in English with simultaneous interpretation in French and Portuguese.
