In response to cases of yellow fever in northern Togo, WHO and the Ministry of Health carried out a mass vaccination campaign in February 2007. During the campaign, 1.3 million people were vaccinated.

This was the first of many vaccination campaigns supported by the newly-established Yellow Fever Initiative.
