Sierra Leone HIV Epidemiology Report 2016
Since the first case of AIDS was reported in Sierra Leone in 1987, much progress has been made in the prevention and control of the disease. This report summarizes the epidemiological findings from data collected for 2015 and the HIV estimations produced for the 2015 Global AIDS Response Progress Report. The information provides valuable insight into the trend of the epidemic and the actions that must be taken in order to #GetToZero in the post-Ebola era in Sierra Leone.
