The WHO Regional Office for Africa and the African Union Commission (AUC) have renewed their commitment to stronger cross-border collaboration and coordinated action to accelerate the fight against neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), which affect more than one billion people globally. Around 35% of those affected live in Africa.
