20 October 2020 — Four (4) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 997 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to four thousand, nine hundred, and ninety-six (4996). To date, four thousand, seven hundred, and ninety-seven (4797) patients have recovered and no one discharged in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is one hundred, and sixty-one (161) and thirty-four (34) deaths.  
The new cases are in Kigali (4); heightened vigilance is required everywhere. 

19 October 2020 — Eighteen (18) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 1373 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to four thousand, nine hundred, and ninety-two (4992). To date, four thousand, seven hundred, and ninety-seven (4797) patients have recovered and been discharged, including fourteen (14) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is one hundred, and sixty-one (161) and thirty-four (34) deaths.  

Bauchi, October 19, 2020- “Even though I knew my body needed rest from childbirth, I didn’t have any information on how to space my children and stop childbirth when I really wanted to. After my seventeenth delivery the new Community Health Workers posted to our primary healthcare center helped me to make an informed decision about my body. Now that I have the right type of contraception, my body is able to rest. I am very happy about this” Stated Lami Danladi a 37-year-old woman living with her family in Tasha-Laya Village of Toro Local Government Area in Bauchi State.

18 October 2020 — Three (3) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 1881 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to four thousand, nine hundred, and seventy-four (4974). To date, four thousand, seven hundred, and eighty-three (4783) patients have recovered and been discharged, including fifteen (15) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is one hundred, and fifty-seven (157) and thirty-four (34) deaths.  

The new cases are in Kigali (2), and Nyagatare (1); heightened vigilance is required everywhere. 

Cross River, October 19, 2020- “I used to deliver all my children at home or with the traditional birth attendant. After learning that our Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) had new health workers and now have scan services, I had to come and see for myself. After I did the first scan and showed my husband the result, we both agreed that we will continue my Ant-natal Care (ANC) at the PHC facility.

17 October 2020 — Six (6) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 2224 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to four thousand, nine hundred, and seventy-one(4971). To date, four thousand, seven hundred, and sixty-eight (4768) patients have recovered and been discharged, including one hundred and four (104) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is one hundred, and sixty-nine (169) and thirty-four (34) deaths.  

16 October 2020 — Twelve (12) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 3450 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to four thousand, nine hundred, and sixty-five (4965). To date, four thousand, six hundred, and sixty-four (4664) patients have recovered and been discharged, including sixty-three (63) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is two hundred, and sixty-seven (267) and thirty-four (34) deaths.  The new death is a male Rwandan of 39 years old.

15 October 2020 — Thirteen (13) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 2080 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to four thousand, nine hundred, and fifty-three (4953). To date, four thousand, six hundred, and one (4601) patients have recovered and been discharged, including two hundred, and three (203) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is three hundred, and nineteen (319) and thirty-three (33) deaths.
