21 August 2020 — Sixty-three (63) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 5700 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to two thousand, seven hundred, and eighty (2780). To date, one thousand, seven hundred and twelve (1712) patients have recovered and been discharged, including seven (7) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is one thousand and fifty-seven (1057) and eleven (11) deaths.

20 August 2020 — Seventy-three (73) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 5463 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to two thousand, seven hundred, and seventeen (2717). To date, one thousand, seven hundred and five (1705) patients have recovered and been discharged, including seven (7) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is one thousand and one (1001) and eleven (11) deaths. The new death is male Rwandan of 42 years old.

This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to two thousand, six hundred, and forty-four (2644). To date, one thousand, six hundred and ninety-eight (1698) patients have recovered and been discharged, including fifteen (15) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is nine hundred and thirty-six (936) and ten (10) deaths.

18 August 2020 — Thirty-seven (37) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 4326 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to two thousand, five hundred, and seventy-seven (2577). To date, one thousand, six hundred and eighty-three (1683) patients have recovered and been discharged, including twenty-two (22) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is eight hundred and eighty-four (884) and ten (10) deaths. The new deaths occurred today are two Rwandans of 45years and 55years old.

17 August 2020 — Eighty-seven (87) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 4018 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to two thousand, five hundred, and forty (2540). To date, one thousand, six hundred and sixty-one (1661) patients have recovered and been discharged, including thirteen (13) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is eight hundred and seventy-one (871) and eight (8) deaths.
