SSA consultant Logistician for WHO Mozambique
Partners including WHO are supporting MOH on COVID-19 preparedness and response. WHO has repurposed its technical staffs and were assigned to the different Technical Working Groups (TWG). One of the TWG is logistics, drugs and supplies for COVID-19. WHO is expected to provide advise and support the quantification of drugs, supplies and logistics for this purpose. The global COVID-19 outbreak is leading to an acute and drastic shortage of essential supplies, including personal protective equipment, diagnostics, and medical products. The UN has decided to act rapidly and convened a Supply Chain Task Force to ensure equitable and fair distribution of limited availability of of essential supplies, including personal protective equipment, diagnostics, and medical products. WHO CO with RC will coordinate this work. The CO office its capacity to deliver and meet expectations of partners and MOH.
