13 October 2020 — Three (3) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 1884 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to four thousand, nine hundred, and eight (4908). To date, four thousand, one hundred, and thirty (4130) patients have recovered and been discharged, including two hundred, and fifty-three (253) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is seven hundred, and forty-six (746) and thirty-two (32) deaths. 

The new cases are in Kigali (1), Nyagatare (1), and Rubavu (1); heightened vigilance is required everywhere.

Abuja, 13 October, 2020 - In a bid to improve the well-being of women, children, adolescents and the elderly in Nigeria, the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire on 12 October 2020, launched the Nigeria Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, Adolescent and Elderly Health Plus Nutrition (RMNCAEH+N), a multi-stakeholder partnership coordination platform which would harmonise the health interventions of the government and health partners to reduce wastage and channel funds to get the desired result to achieve Universal Health Care Coverage. 

12 October 2020 — Nine (9) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 2149 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to four thousand, nine hundred, and five (4905). To date, three thousand, eight hundred, and seventy-seven (3877) patients have recovered and been discharged, including two hundred, and seventy-one (271) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is nine hundred, and ninety-six (996) and thirty-two (32) deaths. The new death is a male Rwandan of 51 years old.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has organized a training on Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) which started on 8 September 2020. So far, five sessions have been conducted and seven remain.

11 October 2020 — Four (4) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 2239 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to four thousand, eight hundred, and ninety-six (4896). To date, three thousand, six hundred, and six (3606) patients have recovered and been discharged, including forty (40) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is one thousand, two hundred, and fifty-nine (1259) and thirty-one (31) deaths. The new death is a male Rwandan of 41 years old in Kigali.

10 October 2020 — Two (2) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 2668 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to four thousand, eight hundred, and ninety-two (4892). To date, three thousand, five hundred, and sixty-six (3566) patients have recovered and been discharged, including eleven (11) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is one thousand, two hundred, and ninety-six (1296) and thirty (30) deaths. 

The new cases are in Kigali (1), and Kirehe (1); heightened vigilance is required everywhere. 

09 October 2020 — Five (5) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 963 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to four thousand, eight hundred, and ninety (4890). To date, three thousand, five hundred, and fifty-five(3555) patients have recovered and been discharged, including thirteen (13) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is one thousand, three hundred, and five (1305) and thirty (30) deaths. The new death is a female Rwandan of 41 years old in Kigali.
