WHO hands over Emergencies facilities under the Japanese grant of US$ 1 million
The Rwanda Ministry of Health officially received on 26th November 2020, equipment and infrastructure constructed and rehabilitated with WHO Rwanda support under the Japanese grant of US$ 1 million for Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) and other public health emergencies. Present at the Handover ceremony were Dr Daniel Ngamije, the Minister of Health, HE. Masahiro IMAI, the Ambassador of Japan in Rwanda and Dr Kasonde Mwinga, WHO Representative, Rwanda Country Office.

27 November 2020 — Twenty-one (21) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 2761 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to five thousand, eight hundred, and seventy-two (5872). To date, five thousand, three hundred, and ninety-seven (5397) patients have recovered, including fifty-two (52) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is four hundred and twenty-eight (428) and forty-seven (47) deaths.

26 November 2020 — Seventy-two (72) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 2991 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to five thousand, eight hundred, and fifty-one (5851). To date, five thousand, three hundred, and forty-five (5345) patients have recovered, including twenty-eight (28) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is four hundred and fifty-nine (459) and forty-seven (47) deaths.
Botswana Conducts Training on Integrated Disease Surveillance And Response (IDSR)
Gaborone, Botswana - 27 November 2020: The Ministry of Health and Wellness with technical support of World Health Organization (WHO) Country Office conducted an Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response training to strengthen public health surveillance and response systems to COVID-19. The training was supported by the European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid.

This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to five thousand, seven hundred, and seventy-nine (5779). To date, five thousand, three hundred, and seventeen (5317) patients have recovered, including seventy-six (76) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is four hundred and fifteen (415) and forty-seven (47) deaths.

This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases to five thousand, seven hundred, and fifty (5750).
